Cmon Biscuit, it's just a running back, you know better than to post this in the PB. Mahomes will still do Mahomes things, nothing has stopped him his entire career.  Now if you want to talk to me on how the Vikings will fair without Justin Jefferson I'm all ears.
    OK Chiefs D is decent, and I have no idea about how many games he may be out, but they are in Atlanta next week,home for the Saints and on the road for Bolts and 49ers and I believe without Pacheco they have their work cut out for them.We shall see. peace_5

    For those who play fantasy football, you may be targeting Carson Steele (the backup for now), but Clyde Edwards-Helaire might be a better pick up once he's removed from IR-R and if Pacheco is gone for an extended amount of time. You'll just have to be patient. I wasn't impressed with Steele in the limited action he got, but if you can swing getting both of 'em, may as well. In FAAB waiver systems, someone's going to probably overpay for Steele, hence the foresight of picking up and stashing CEH.

    I got these in last night for Week 3:

    Chargers/Steelers u35.5 -110
    Buccaneers -6.5 -115
    Raiders -7 -106

    I use 2 books (sometimes 3, but I don't use the 3d one all that much). One of them gives me lines earlier than Bovada.

    Turns out I could've waited this morning and got the Steelers under for the same price at 36 points.
    Buccs stayed the same.
    I got a good price on the Raiders spread.

    I usually don't place bets this early in the week, so this is moreso documenting my exploits out in the wild. Hoping to see trainwreck in his natural habitat, while I'm at it!

    good lookin’ out . Probably a split with Perine getting a lot , or all of the 3rd downs . They’ll probably sign McKinnon off the street though is my guess .

    how bout this since I got ya here ….

    scenario ……

    I’m up 27 and change over Todd the rebel amenities broker ( that’s what we call him )

    I have nobody left to play . He’s got Smith Eagles wide receiver and that tall light skinned brother that plays wideout for the Falcons . I can’t remember his name .

    full PPR .

    you think I got a shot ? I really wanna stick it to that foul mouthed greedy bastard even though he asked me to be the godfather and I christened his kid ……

    @iConsciousness

     When I first saw your Raiders -7 play, I immediately thought absolutely not, this is the wrong over reaction. Going from a +9 su dog winner otr, to a -7 home fav good lord the swing.

    Until I saw that they are playing the Panthers. I have no issues with it even if the line is a hair to high. I'm assuming the look ahead was probably -5.5 or -6, not sure. The Panthers are abysmal.

    I'm taking into account that they played the Ravens tough on the road and the Chargers tough for almost 3 quarters. Now they'll be playing their first home game. They've had some of the Rams/Chargers problems of visiting fan takeovers, but I don't think that's happening with the Panthers on the menu. Bryce Young’s average time to throw of 2.46 seconds was the third fastest in the league this week. Young sucks when under duress, and the Raiders have the pass rush to continue that trend. Adam Butler has been playing lights out for the Raiders; it's not all Maxx Crosby this year.

    My Raiders thumbs_up

    And

    My Raidersangry

    That win yesterday may just be lipstick on a pig...they took that game in the 4th quarter, but how confused...well, because Laymark did Laymark things...I mean, it was a feat in itself to tie up the game in the fourth, but the Ravens just made too many mistakes and apparently are not clutch in the final minutes...they are mistake prone and until they clean that up they will continue to lose...the real question is, how was the game even that close going into the fourth to begin with...ultimately, that shanked punt did them in but the Ravens do not look good and in a game where they had statistical edges all over the place until the first kick off was made...they do not look like a good unit thus far and they have to go to Dallas next week which is a much better team than the Raiders and they are coming off a loss...are we looking at an 0-3 Ravens team or a 1-2 Dallas team after next week....surprised...ask yourself that...either way, someone is getting their jumbotron shanked after next week...it ought to be interesting to see how it unfolds...right now though, the Ravens don't look like they could beat the Panthers or BR's junior team...did you see the cleatsan_nailbiter

    Breaking:

    Panthers are benching Bryce Young for Andy Dalton.

    Let's see how that affects the line. I still like the Raiders here, but it obviously changes things as Dalton is going to be bringing some better decisions making.

    Well, that could change a lot...guys like him and Flacco can step in and make a difference...they still won't be able to protect him but Dalton's internal clock runs better than Brick Young's....they will be slinging it that's for sure...

    @ABooksNightmare

     Dalton is such an upgrade, Panthers are gonna have to cut their losses with Young. I agree about the lipstick on a pig quote though. -7 is way too much over reaction from Ravens win. Raiders hopefully get the W but I would not even entertain the thought of laying the 7 with them

    The over does look juicy now...Dalton will be a bit rusty so may be good for a pick or two or fumble, but the only thing that scares me on this at the moment is the Raiders defense is legit and has been for last few seasons...I have no problems with our defense at all....they are generally pretty stout and play well...Maxxy is a stud and is up there with Watt and Parsons and Huthcinson and a few others...the defense is the only way the Raiders can win now a days...they keep them in a lot of games, but the offense cannot match them even when we had Carr...Carr was not our answer as he has too many blunders but he can also come up with the deep throws on occasion...

    We need offense...Adams is ok, but we have no RB and we got rid of one of the better TE's in the league in Waller and then he retires...we have shit for brains every else and we'd be better if we had Todd the craps dealer from the Bellagio....dude can rake those chips and push those dice like nobody's business.... Go Toddwin

    @ABooksNightmare

    The rookie TE is gonna be a star in this League like Casper and Christianson were, Zamir is not the worst back in the league but we need a two headed monster back there! Menshew is not the answer at QB IMHO though

    Only if they can get the ball to him...how productive is he once Adams gets injured? Shit starts shutting down if any key piece is out...they have a huge talent gap on offense even with a healthy staff...if that faulters, it really starts to slide and mustachio is definitely not the answer...

    Draft Kings is offering the Saints +2, ML+110 at home vs the Eagles. And the Eagles are yet to play...this is my kinda look ahead bet.

    The only notable injury for the Saints was Taysom Hill(chest). They might get CB Lattimore back for this game as he didn't play vs the Cowboys.

    Who knows who gets injured tonight for the Eagles, if anyone.

    Derek Carr is light years ahead of Jalen Hurts currently.

    The Eagles opened their season in Brazil. Now play on MNF at home, so a short week heading into Nola.

    Gimme the Saints +110, locked in.

    If anything changes and this ML flips, and I don't like something I'll bet the Eagles at +$ to get out.
