I hate people that preach religion to other people when not asked - but the bible is nothing more than a book of hate - so stories like this don’t surprise me - it is what punishment you should do to everyone that doesn’t believe or don’t behave as you like (or what they didn’t like back then rather) - it is a 2000 year old propaganda book - some people chooses to follow like it is gospel (which is fine if it enriches your life - but it isn’t some kind of shield people can hide behind when they make decisions in life)

God can be vengeful. At times, downright wrathful. If that were my family, I wouldn't want him given the death penalty. I would want him set free so that I could kill him. And if he is a man of faith, if there is a God, I would make him beg God for the mercy, for the salvation of lethal injection.
