One of those style pools, huh? My family plays those in Texas. I always tell them you have to go against the grain a little to have any chance of winning those.

yeah it's 7 NFL and 6 NCAA each week on CBS...  it will show what % of pool members are on which teams.  I do my own college picks and then in NFL just fade the team that has the higher percentage of picks.  4th place in Week 1 already paid for the season.   

Another fun one I'm in is a top 25 confidence pool with spreads, 5 picks each week worth 1-5 points.  Another good fade on the top plays overall, but they aren't revealed until after the first kickoff on Saturday

The 'homer' pools are the best...  A friend was in an NFL point spread pool a few years back and the guy running it sent an email to everyone bitching that they were picking against the Browns too much.  Pathetic

Had another friend lose a 50 person Yahoo pool with a $1K+ payout because he picked the Browns every week, his reasoning was 'he couldn't root against his team'.

 Luck goodage with your plays, but betting the side and total on the SAME game is usually a poor strategy and a recipe for disaster.

I like that prop but will play him on the "anytime TD" scorer at +100.   GL.
