i was head varsity football coach for two years.   during those two years i put 18 kids into college on full scholarships.   i put them into night school for grade recovery, took them to camps, paid for a ton of sh*t.  one kid, the administration messed up his transcripts and although he was a full qualifier (gpa and test score), since he didn't graduate with his graduating class it made him a non qualifier.   i paid two years worth of food/rent at a California juco until he got his offer from a 4 year school (he went div 1).   after two years of not getting what i needed in terms of support, i stepped down but continued to coach.  i continue to help the current fb coach put kids into school. 

 i teach hs pe and once a week, i take these kids into the classroom to work on remedial math/English skills to help with standardized testing.  i love coaching because you get a handful of kids that want something better in their lives.   you know, the type of kid who takes accountability for their life and believes they're in control of their destiny.   not the 90% of the student population that can't wait to get a government check of their own.

teachers/coaches like myself do more for this country than Obama/democrats.   we teach accountability, responsibility and self reliance.   we teach that you and no one else is in control of your destiny while the libs enslave the poor by meeting their basic physiological needs with the handouts.
