the government spends every dollar in payroll taxes on federal programs.

Its because I do not look at politics from a purely party perspective. There are aspects of platforms I agree with more for one party than another but SOME people look at all the ills of the country from a single political perspective and that is quite erroneous.

Also, the payroll taxes reply is a joke..even though technically all monies are spent, the purpose of payroll taxes is not the same as income taxes.

Compare like items..using your logic the payroll tax is a net number anyway..employees also pay their half of FICA taxes, so at best you are on equal terms..at best.

Well sure, but guess which party took the "unified budget" approach because they didn't want to raise taxes for the Vietnam war?

I'll add, if Exxon ran their accounting the way the federal government runs Social Security, every one of Exxon's corporate officers would be in jail.

Sure, and when Social Security goes insolvent, we can thank Democrats.

After all, they came up with the idea to take the money from the Social Security program, move it to the general fund, and write IOU's (called “special issue” bonds) back to the US Treasury.

The real Obama government's efficiencies were in it's handling of the 800 billion stimulus money..now that was an example of spending our tax-payer money efficiently ...

They turned it into a Democrat slush fund....not to rebuilding our crumbling roads and bridges or repairing our faulty dams or put hundred's of people to work,,,the stimulus spending went to teachers and other public employee unions during the recession to make sure they were not laid off....it went to Democrat supporters..

..and their payback to Obama was union dues spent on Democrat campaigns, buying ads for Democrat candidates and voting for Obama in 2012............. RHL

Congress and the Reagan administration adjusted Social Security taxes and benefits to put the program on an even keel that began to build up a huge surplus for investment. But Congress decided to “borrow” the surplus instead of investing.

right controlled the senate , left contrlled the house.

Police work can be a hard job .  Usually response time is better in large cities instead of remote suburbs.  In this case, police did help to arrest the suspect.   Municipal and state governments are mostly responsible for police budgets.  Not federal government.  Municipalities may be required to cut spending to balance their budgets.

In post #27 you said that Wall never says a bad word about democrats. I then said that is very ironic as you never say a bad word about republicans. That is the very definition of irony and hypocrisy. Not sure how that can be argued.

You take it a step further and somehow manage to make little thing, regardless of what it is, somehow the fault of democrats and Obama.

It is a page out of your playbook. Argue all you want but it is what it is....
