World Snooker Championships

Question

The World Championship started on Saturday but only now have i decided to star playing. The first round is always tough as you can never truly know how the player is hitting the ball.

So the one pick i have is John Higgins v Stephen Hendry.

Both fabulous players and multiple World title holders.

Higgins though is the younger of the two and the better player in this moment. Hendry is a class but he is no longer elite level.

My bet is Higgins -3.5 on the handicap. This is a long match best out of 25. I expect Higgins to win comfortably. Hendry is capable of good moments but over the course of a long match Higgins will wear him out.

A little disappointed with Higgins sloppy play after being 3-2 up he let Hendry win the next 3 frames from some poor play. However good job this is a long match so i expect him to come out stronger in the next session.

Sorry CoverLane mate my pick is a loser can't believe what i have seen from Higgins. It wasn't like Hendry is putting in a dominating performance its just been frame after frame Higgins missing easy shots and leaving Hendry in.

Hendry has really not had to play well Higgins has played so poorly that even a semi pro at my club could beat him.

Disappointing.

Will see if anything else comes up to my liking but feel sick after this pick and this World Championship is proving very difficult to pick.
