WNBL Sydney Uni Flames

Been reading up on the times, and from what i can understand Sydney have loaded up on some talent, while Adelaide have some injury woes.

Might try Sydney here, what do you think?

Camino out and some nice words on Sydney. Leaning them ML and +5

Adelaide will go into the contest without its key recruits Renae Camino (knee) and Shelley Burston (knee) and also will be without Rebecca Duke (shoulder) and Kelsey Ireland (shoulder). But Valk said she expected younger players such as Mia Newley and Nikki Martin to take a step forward this year.

Well yeah they are down 6 points, and yeah it is nothing but it looks tough.

They take a lot of fouls and seem to play catch up. This might have been a mistake. Looked good on paper though.

Down 11 giving up 6 points in the last 28 secs.

This was a huge mistake and now i am paying the price, improved team , favorites  blah.

Adelaide without 4 of their best players.. but i guess if it looks to good to be true, then it is.

mate, WNBL is about as straight up and down as it gets handicapping wise. No "traps" or "too good to be trues" about it imo. But opening weekend, back end of the old fashioned "doomsday double" (Perth-Adelaide) is not a great spot for any team in the WNBL, especially a new look lineup like the Flames. I think the girls in this Aussie league really do it tough on back to backs or in this case, second game in three days with travel in between.

Regardless of who Adelaide puts on the floor, they're a proud club, it's their home opener, they're fresh and keen to prove a point first up against a team they love to hate.
