Just wondering if anyone had turned up any good revelations from our US allies ?

I found this about a quarter of the way through.

Former Ambassador to Australia Tom Scheiffer has called sports betting in Australia "undemocratic" and "possibly nepotistic". He sights in cables to then US president George W Bush concerns about growing intercepts through the Pine Gap facility conversations between NRL players, Coaches, Sportstab and the North Korean regime.

I found this too.

With growing speculation that the NBA is fixed, sports in Australia are fixed and run by the TAB according to Rostos, aka Kim Beazley.

During his time leading the Labor government being second fiddle to John Howard, Rostos has suggested that the TAB run all major sporting events in Australia. Rostos has proof backing up his claims which puts TAB's cult figure Glenn Munsie under considerable pressure to come forward and reveal all.

Rostos will stop at nothing to prove that sports in Australia are fixed and wants blood whether it is from Glenn Munsie or the Perth Wildcats, particularly Lisch, who is arguably their best player taking his first shot of the match close to half time during last week's shock loss to the Taipans.
