Rod's NBL Grand Final Series

 

I thought I was done betting in the NBL until the current scenario arose. The Kings are 1-2 down and have lost the last 2 games to the Tigers. Basically I am betting against a trend that has on face value appears absurd i.e. the Kings losing 3 games on the bounce. We are talking about a team that had only lose 3 games in the entire season! Let's put it into perspective, the Kings were beaten by a clutch Lampley 3 in game 3 otherwise would be taking a 2-1 lead into this game.

 

I know Draper and Hinder are both out but that simply means the Kings will move to a bigger lineup and revert back to a halfcourt game hence this game is going to be a struggle. Depth as we all know is not a problem with this team, they've shown it all season. The best season in a must win game getting 3.5 points? This is 2004 finals series all over again IMO:

I have been thinking similarly. Melbourne -3 looks a bit of a gift with Draper out but I have a feeling Kings will get this one.

Kings couldn't win at home in game #3 (very disappointing).

 

Their chances are no greater hitting the road with injury concerns.

they are a quality side, im sure they will show up to play hard today to win even with injury concerns.

I'm in. I would love this to go 5. Kings have had a great season and it all comes down to tonight. Don't think for a second that Melbourne won't be nervous....they won't want to be heading back to Sydney. Can't pick a side on the total, kind of leaning over as the Kings have to have a go tonight.
