Olympic Women's Basketball

Gotta throw down a little money on the Aussie Opals today playing the Brits.  Aussies return 5 players from the 2008 Olympics and 6'8" Liz Cambage is a beast inside playing with Lauren Jackson.  In fact, the Aussies have 3 players taller than the Brits tallest player.  The Aussies beat Great Britain by 25 two weeks ago in a practice game with Jackson playing limited minutes.  Great Britain will have the crowd with them and be excited to play their first game, but as we saw with the US ladies excitement can lead to mistakes.  I like the Aussies experience to win out (see China earlier today).  Check out the Aussies -20.5 over Great Britain.

First lost today, I forgot how corrupt the referees are in this game

The basketball involving the big teams are always tough to gauge especially early on as all they want to do is win and win without injury

So true, and Cambage got fouls called on her taking her out of it...and they rested Jackson the entire 4th quarter uggghhh I'm gonna stick to baseball,  that was ugly to watch
