Thunderbirds have just played two high scoring game teams the Firebirds and Fever for totals of 102 and 101.
Mystics have had some high scoring games but up against the best defensive team in terms of goals conceded, the Magic, the totals were only 85 and 89.
I think the Thunderbirds are close to the Magic defensively. They concede a few more goals but they play the better, higher scoring Australian teams more. I think the should keep the Mystics fairly subdued keeping this under.

Fever have been in meltdown mode the last two weeks losing by 20 and 25. Young side seems to have burnt out after some impressive games early. Nothing to play for whereas Steel are fourth but they have a tough last three games so need this to keep finals chances alive.
5 seems too many given the NZ hoodoo but hard to play the fever again after being on them last week when they disgraced themselves.
MB my initial thoughts on Magic Vixens is under. Hard to pick a side. Magic have showed a bit but against weak opposition. Chatfield is questionable for Vixens, whether she is in or out could sway things.
Tactix under fails. Brown last week missed several one footers when both defenders were out of play. This week can't miss.
JT my initial thoughts were the same as yours.

Firebirds have been playing well but have only one impressive result for the season the big win over the magic by 11. The last four weeks have been decided by 4 goals or less.
In the game in Sydney a fortnight ago Firebirds won the first quartet by 7 following which there was not much between the two sides.
Swifts were ok against Vixens away a fortnight ago taking them to overtime. Despite sitting in 9th at 2-6 I think they are still a slight chance for the finals if they win their last 5 i think. Even if they don't think this I reckon they will still play to win.
The last game went over this number with Cox missing more than usual shooting 32/43 74%.
If Sydney get rolling early I think there is a decent chance this will be a close, high scoring shoot out.

stats last 3 matches h2h game 1 fire 66-52(shots 69-62) 118 game2 swifts 61-60 (shots 69-66) 121 game3 fire 58-54 (shots 71-69) 112 i like the over mate. with the swifts having the bye the last week, they should be primed for this game. though i think birds will win in a close one.
gl mate, i like the picks.

Anticipated / hoped the line would be a pk or magic laying -1 but the current line has me kinda going the other way. Not only the +2.5 the Vixens are recieving but the fact the game is being played away from the magic's usual home venue, at some 1500 seat dog box.
Vixens also with their co-skipper Bianca chatfield returning which will bolster their defensive unit.
I've had the feeling the vix have been precariously close to losing their unbeaten record for the last fortnight or so and this week would be it, but then again, with a couple of those aforementioned factors in their favour they might really see this as THE game they want to define their season by to this point.
I have no doubt they're more than capable of beating the Magic here there or anywhere if they're on their game. The big IF for me is will they turn things around from their last couple of outings and produce their A game tomorrow
And so to tomorrow's much anticipated showdown.

Small bet on Vixens pretty much for reasons JT mentions.
Vixens have been scoring heavily in the last three games, but this has been against the top three high scoring game teams. Magic are argably the best defence in the league giving up only 42.6 goals a game. Magic have only been in two games over 100 this season, against the two highest game teams Sydney and QLD.
Last season was 87.
Expect this to be tense struggle, with both teams GDs and GKs able to cause some problems for the shooters keeping the scoring down.
