NBL Round 3

Probably not going to be around tomorrow night so I thought I would post a day and a half early. All the info will come out tomorrow.

Damn! 8 points is just over what I was looking for. I think they'll win by 12 but I'll probably hold off.

Cairns @ Sydney
Well, Sydney aren't as bad as expected. Their imports are not bad. Spud Webb getting Week 2 MVP was interesting. I thought he had a purple patch of a couple of mins but did little the rest of the game. Sydney should cover 2 points.

Cairns @ Adelaide
Second game in 2 days. Adelaide aren't living up to their potential and I think Luke isn't the best fit. 5.5 is about right but it depends a bit on the Sydney game and how much they have left in the tank. I will probably take Adelaide just based on the early season fatigue.

Perth @ Melb
Perth keep rolling. They'll have to drop one sooner or later but it is probably not going to be against Melbourne. Perth are too good to lose to a that team. 7.5 points is tough considering it's the third week of road games... but there are more weeks to come.

Townsville @ Gong
Gong will be desperate to win this one. Crocs should be tired from the NZ game. Probably my strongest lean is for the Hawks to control this game... but that would mean Crocs are 0-4.

I din't trust sydney to win 2 home games in a row, Perth look great this year i think they will kill melbourne

I don't understand the line movement for the Crocs to shorten against the Breakers. I'll watch and see how tired they are... see if Gong are worth the bet. They went out to -5.5... and 6 would be my limit.

Sydney shortened also... no pun to their import.

Looks like the Sunday games are the only ones I'm interested in.

20-30... crocs out by 10. I read the breakers correctly but not the crocs.

The score has run up a bit... tempted but not going to chase at half time with the under 176.5

sweet... winner. Total 144.
... but Crocs got 71.

I got the Gong -4.5 and the Under 155.5.

I started liking the Gong line more but now the Under.

I'm not going to play the Cats game.
I think the line and total are about right. I would have the Cats at -8 and the total depends on Melbourne but I would lean slightly to the Under.

surprise surprise...unders get absolutely hammered....and what do we see? turnover, turnover, missed layups, missed layups..

I am telling you all now, their is a syndacate between players, refs and some very big punters....GUARANTEED...

Tigers under should be good. 37 at half is on target for a close one but the Cats should clamp down in one of the quarters. Still a no play for me... I think the line is spot on.

The under for the Hawks Crocs, I see the Crocs coming out hard but slowing down as they have done in every game so far. Every team seems to adjust to their game plan at half time and stop them. The Hawks should be in control of the game in the second half and the tempo should slow.

I don't think my bets on the NBL get noticed.

Good 1Q... Gong leading 20-13. Crocs look flat.

I hope McLeod is wearing that pink tie because of either a woman or a sponsor.

15 point lead but the Crocs aren't playing any D. 45-30 is a good start and I hope that Gong slow things down and the Crocs get tired.

I think the Under is still solid at Under 153.5 at the half... but I already have Under 155.5... As I was typing this it dropped to 152.5

Happy days... I'm not going to jinx it by posting a record but I haven't got one wrong with the NBL yet.

Time to check out the NFL.
