Is College Basketball Rigged?

want to get everyone’s honest take on something.

Does anyone else feel like college basketball swings are insane? You can have a team up double digits, everything looks solid, and then out of nowhere the entire game flips. I’m not saying it’s rigged, but sometimes the momentum shifts feel unreal.

For me personally, I can catch a win here and there — sometimes even string two together — but I can also lose 5-7 straight without it even feeling surprising. The losing streaks seem way easier to stack than the wins.

At this point I’m trying to figure out if it’s just variance and I’ve been consistently on the wrong side… or if others are experiencing the same thing.

I’m down about $30K over the last six months. No excuses for my selections. I’m genuinely curious: are any of you actually up a large amount betting college hoops? Or are most of us grinding and taking hits?

Would really appreciate honest feedback from people who’ve had consistent success and from those who haven’t. Just trying to get a real pulse check.

ANYTHING u can bet on. Can and will have corruption.

People think the whole team or whatever needs to be in on it. When all it takes is one player, one coach. or one ref to alter the game and spread. Hawaii university has been caught point shaving in the past. Ex nba refs fixed games.  Ex pro athletes been caught rigging games.  Basically anything involving lots of money will have corruption.

 You’re not alone. I had Murray St. -3.5 against Indiana St. up like 22 at half. 74-72 final with layup at buzzer on offensive rebound at buzzer to screw me.

Refs have been bought before just like in any sport. Is it the majority of participants or games? No

Whether it is or not should not affect you winning or losing long term as you are just as likely as not to benefit

Dont waste your time worrying about it. It’s not the reason you’re losing

 What’s the reason I’m losing? Just pure bad luck? I doubt it. I am not placing parlays or props or even moneyline bets. 

just an over/under or spread. 

I look at a website that is suppose to be showing me where all the money is going and I bet opposite. I see a line move dramatically one way and I do the opposite. 

it doesn’t matter what I do I will lose 5 bets to my 1 winner

College kids will throw a game for a peanut butter sandwich. So be careful. 

Years and years ago, I can't recall exactly  ,probably late 80s early 90s.

I had Indiana-5 and they were up 7 with just over a second left in the game and other team had the ball under the Ind basket. No chance to win or extend the game,they inbound with a pass to the front court to a wide open player as Ind backed off,and you guessed it,player catches,and throws up a 3pt shot. Nothing but net,and Ind wins by only 4. Just about threw something thru the TV.  Have seen many games with outcomes like that.   Not saying rigged or not but sure makes you wonder.

 i  dont  know  why  we gamble.  we  all  lose.  in the  last 5  years  the  last  6  months  have  been the  worst.  i  cant  put  together  many  wins and  had  some  tough  losses  along  the  way.  its   about  time  to  hang  it  up. year  my  savings  account  suddenly  got  a  little  smaller
