Honestly, I would beg that many players and their families or relatives bet on the games with insider knowledge! The way some of these teams play, it looks like they aren’t even trying, constant easy mistakes and fouls. Very easy to corrupt, especially the lower level teams, from small schools and conferences!

I agree it’s way too easy to get down on added game ML’s etc. Illegal bookies have really never offered ML’s on non marquee or added games in the past but now all these books seem to offer it. If your a college player and have 5k and there’s a way to quadruple it it’s easy through a friend you trust or relative not to mention how the corporate NIL money has connected the business world to the athlete doing favors for the NIL money etc. I think the overall corruption will only get worse with the direction things are headed.

Yes and San Fran trailed the entire game vs UT Arlington in a game which they were favored by 15pts. Makes you wonder but in reality it’s happening and you have to watch how much you’re financially exposed on some of these games.
Very hard to rig/fox a CBB game. The handle of these games are very small 2k-3k max limit per bets at most books and even smaller for the lesser games. And even less for ML bets. Any big wager or a lot of wagers will cause crazy line movements hence why u have limits on bets. This is not like NFL where some books will take $20-$50k per game and the handle is 1000x more than a CBB game. Just because there are upsets does not mean it’s fixed. Now if you see a dog drop 4-5 points and is getting pounded and win outright they it will raise a red flag and there is some proof that players were doing something shady in the game. These players will not fox a game for a couple g’s.. it’s not worth. And if they are fixing games where are the bets being placed? Not as easy to fox a game as u think in CBB.
I think a lot of the time a big favorite takes the foot of the gas with weaker teams. They turn it on later in the game and win but don’t cover, or they wait too long and then find themselves in a real battle facing the possibility of the wrath of that guy named Coach. I never lay those big spreads either, if a big favorite is blowing out the other team, maybe the coach will rest his starters - just too unpredictable.
