Ball was clearly going for 6.....a better ruling would be to use common sense, when beyond doubt the ball was going for six, it should be ruled a 6 not a dead ball.

I had the sound off on the tv so havn't got any feedback on it.

Yeah that was farsical. If that sort of thing is going to happen then there's no point playing at that ground. They need to have a new rule sorted before the next match there.
