Devolder over Hoogerland at $1.85 is a solid bet too I would think. But I have backed all I wanted to back pre-race.

Sit down and see the race unfold then work out a counter attack if these bets don't look good.

With the predicted weather, I guess Boonen @-170 over Boason would be a nice bet in a parlay with Gilbert @-175 over Pozzato??

Also trying to decite if im gonna place a small bet on Devolder to win @+2500...

The way I see it, QS are coming with two cards. Devolder and Boonen. Chavanel will be working for both of them I reckon. So Devolder to win is a very good bet.

In regards to your parlay, that looks good, but I worry about the Boonen v Boasson-Hagen matchup. Yes, EBH should struggle in this weather but he is a class act. Similarly, I'm not sure how Boonen would go over those climbs in crap weather.

Could he go with say a Ballan or Gilbert or a Burghardt. What if EBH is there on the last climb with him? Could he ride away?

That's the question you need to ask yourself.

If you think he can, do it. That's what it comes down to. Those climbs and the weather. I don't want to tell you what to do but I have rated the two matchups.

Gilbert over Pozzato - 80/20
Boonen over EBH 60/40

The reason why Gilbert over Pozzato is a clear cut bet IMO is because I can see Pozzato struggling to make the top 15 and I can see Gilbert potentially winning. Gilbert can ride away from Pozzato.

I do like your parlay bet but it's up to you.

Ended up playing P. Gilbert  over F. Pozzato and A. Ballanover M. Burghardt in a parlay @+252 for 1u + tailing your Devolder over Chavanel @+100 for 2u.
Also took a chance on Devolder to win @+2500 for 0.5u and Ballan to win @+4000 for 0.5u
SO, as long as Devolder beat Chavanel I go at least even on the day...

Btw, Gilbert won't be in the race cause of a French air traffic controllers' strike, lol

That Cooke over Hutarovich on paper looks like a gift. Cooke can handle these climbs. Hutarovich can't.

I think there will be live betting tomorrow in Kuurne - we will need that with the conditions. But I would be backing Freire each way as potentially my only bet depending what happens tonight.
