Pakistan -200 v West Indies,  $400 to win $200, 

IF pakistan turn up this one wont even be a contest but i cannot guarantee pakistan turning up, West Indies blew the game against england and will regret it...the only two teams i think west Indies could beat in the quarter finals are new zealand and sri Lanka...had they beat england the other day they would of been playing sri lanka instead of pakistan. Once you get Gayle back in the pavillion the windies struggle...yes they have sarwan but boy is he having to work hard for his runs of late, if pakistan bat first and post anything above 250..or bowl first and restrict west indies to anything below 270 they have a great chance of winning.

England +162 v Sri Lanka, $100 to win $162,

Considering there is a heavy aussie presence on this forum this wont go down too well BUT this is not your grandmothers england odi team, the week off will help Jimmy, Bres and Tremlett recover and they have also got Treadwell/ Yardy to help swann if its a turning pitch in Columbo. Sri Lanka rely to much on Sangakkara and Jayawardena for my liking plus there bowling has been all over the place...Zimbabwe had a 150 or so opening run partnership on this team.

South Africa -275 v New Zealand, $550 to win $200,

Unless Ross Taylor makes a 100 this one will be a cakewalk....

India v Australia...still mulling this pick, I would love to pick India and back the home side to stay alive however the Aussies dont lose many back to back games and with Indias shambolic bowling attack you would pray to ganesha that Australia bats first or otherwise its namaste to the world cup, i dont care if India get 350 batting first Australia will chase that down under the lights, India's best chance is win the toss bowl first restrict Australia to 290 or so and then let Sehwag and Tendulkar smash Tait and Johnson whilst milking Lee around also Jason Krezja will get murdered if he does not get his length right against Sehwag, Yuvi or Sach-meister.

I'm on the other side. I like the Gunja men in this game.

On the other side with England too. Not sure about your comment about relying too much on two players. Maybe you are being Sarcastic.

The Kafers will murder the Kiwi's.

You'd have to pick the Indian's to win this. Aussies can't play spin. Hope the Aussies win though.

Pakistan blow hot and cold so I can't be laying that much chalk with them even though they are clearly the superior team. Hoping to get them at higher than SP to get on them.

i didnt bet so i root for the aussies ....i got ascared offa the indians...got to stick to yr gut,....i still love south afrika and at -300 i couldnt afford to play india   and s.a... i didnt bet .ind or aust.   do you think south afrika worth going 1500 us$ in  the hole for?

Sorry i didnt get round to this post before the game started but south africa should walk this score plus the sponsors dont want New Zealand in the semi's they want the glitz and glamour of South Africa.
