He is gone Rod and not for just two weeks. He was really quite rough in that game and struck another player as well. He is out for 5+ weeks.
I was one of those people who abused the ump for Bazzas reporting but when they showed the replay on the screens the whole ground just burst into laughter. Bazza had done one over on us. Interestingly Roosy left him on for the reaminder of the quarter. He spent time off in the 3rd but I am not sure what Roos was hoping to accomplish.
Anyhow I think it is a positive. He is and has been since the beginning of last season missing kicks, marks and playing for free's instead of footy. I expect Scarlett would have done him over next week if he had played so it is much better now to let a Davis, Bird or Grundy type player have a go.
As a Swans fan I hope he retires at the end of this season. He has done good for the team but now he is a liability.

Bunch of harsh words here....you might not like him, but geez, it sounds like he ran over your friend with his car.
Perhaps Footy has a higher level of ideal though, than let's say, rugby. Good chops are thrown in most heated rugby matches (Hines baby, I'm lookin' at you!
) but the fan reaction isn't as rough as heard above.
