Fremantle v Melbourne - Bookies have the Dockers heavy favourites going into this match and I do have to agree as the Heat and home ground advantage will play a factor late into the game. The dees will start 2010 with a new breed of players ready to challenge for the next decade and so too will the Fremantle Dockers. Word coming out of Perth is that Fremantle have had an excellent pre-season and are as fit as they have ever been. They are a side that is 2 years ahead of the Dees and mature bodies should prove to be the difference in this game. I am taking the Fremantle Dockers in the points margin option 1-39 points as I can see the Dees staying with the Dockers only to lose it in the final quarter.

Richmond and Dees are planning on making their runs next year. They won't mind finishing bottom of the ladder given the first round picks situation with GC and GWS coming into the competition. Tough on the Tigers fans though.
