Other side with the Dogs game. I watched the Dogs play last week and I was not impressed. Had it been any other team the Dogs would have lost that game. They were tired by the 3rd quarter, they shut shop as soon as that happened and a lot of players we playing in different positions. I just don't think you can do that against Melbourne who will run all day.

Melbourne has lost 14 of its last 15 at Etihad Stadium, including the last 10. I'm on the Dogs ML here. I think it's a turning point in their season. You just can't trust the Dees to be consistent and there's no way on earth I'd back them under the roof with their record.

    Yep am aware of that.

At the same time if they win tonight it will be the first time this season they have beaten a team outside the bottom 4.

No turning point for the Dogs. If they lose one more game then they are relying on others to make the eight even with their soft draw.

Correction. They beat Richmond so they have in fact beaten one team outside the bottom four this year.

---- last week i got on the tigers for the fact that i believed melbourne would have a hard time in backing it up 2 weeks in a row. How i was wrong!!! tigers came out well and then in the last half of the first Q melbourne blew them away. but there were many times during that game where the tigers came back but did stupid things to let the demons score goals against the flow. and when the opposition scores against the flow it simply just kills u and with the tigers already trailing well quite simply they didnt do themselves any favours. i like dogs here tonight because i havent seen MELB win 3 straight once this year and their record at etihad speaks for itself---- SEE ALISTAIRS POST

---- Ok now this game gives me a slight worry purely because swans have only won more than 2 games this season by more then 13points (13points v WCE, 62pts v PORT & 65pts v LIONS). but if u ask me CROWS are that BAD!!!!!!! and would have to be close on par with quality of footy as brissy and port. sydney have just had consecutive hard games with the blues and pies and i see them trying to put this game away very early as they MUST fend off other top 8 even top 4 competition. with crows struggling Neil Craig is tinkering with his starting 22 and i dont see any 'star' players coming back to make this team any stronger than the side that has just been flogged 5 weeks running.
--------- CROWS last win came in rd 8 v GCsuns and since then they have lost 5 games straight by a minimum of 30points v (dog 2 weeks back)

GL to all and i hope you have a WIN (unless ur betting against me)

How i was wrong!!! tigers came out well and then in the last half of the first Q melbourne blew them away. but there were many times during that game where the tigers came back but did stupid things to let the demons score goals against the flow. and when the opposition scores against the flow it simply just kills u and with the tigers already trailing well quite simply they didnt do themselves any favours. i like dogs here tonight because i havent seen MELB win 3 straight once this year and their record at etihad speaks for itself---- SEE ALISTAIRS POST

    SWANS -15.5         1unit@$1.92

I just don't think you can do that against Melbourne who will run all day.

have to agree to disagree tonight mate!

very very valid fact! dockers cant get it done at the MCG so lets hope melb keep up their struggles at Etihad.

although dont want the doggies to turn their season around cause my rooboy's have em in 2 weeks

    ALSO PLAYING:

    multi:
    BLUES-SWANS-PIES    1unit@$2.33

----already given reason for the swans. i think the blues will be looking to correct their terrible performance last round. also after giving a top 4 rival (the eagles) the 4 points last week they will be eager to secure the win and cling on to forth in the process. plus i think they are a better side in general then the improving tigers so i believe the blues should win. the pies/hawks game should be a ripper and im hoping it comes right down to the wire. i can also see hawks being in this the whole way even not in front at some course of the match. but i think the pies wiped off the cobwebs that this bye seems to be producing last week. and after their poor kicking and average performance against the swans i can imagine they copped it during the week on the track. plus this is their chance to flex their muscles against another top 4 side getting closer to finals. pies will want to prove a point

Well done Dogs backers. Too easy in hindsight. Gift from the books to get 2.05 on a team against Melbourne at Etihad.

put your house on em next week

they never show up 2 weeks in a row- the fact they did against the tigers was a shock to me, but made me feel a whole safer this week v a dogs team who before the game i would have said had a better list but were just under-performing. lets not forget that cooney was missing for a majority of their losses and although he is ONLY 1 player he clearly is the engine for this team.  when demons are favoutrites to win they usually lose.(-tigers game)

what u thinking for the rest of the week mate?
