AFL Rd 3

Going to start posting but don't tail as I don't have a past record, andjust letting you know that I will only be playing one or two games at most (if that) per round.

 

Saints -15.5  at Sportingbet

 

As per gmanea's AFL Rd 3 thread, no need to rehash.

 

Ess -5.5 Centrebet, and I think -6.5 Sportingbet

 

Had done a big write-up, but internet went down and lost the lot  

Bombers are more advanced than the Blues, and I think they have great advanatge in most keys positions except CHF for Ess.  Don't worry about Ess loss last wk as most sides will have massive trouble against Geel, it's only when you loss to average sides like what Melb have experienced that you really should have concerns.  Providing the Bombers start well I think they keep the gas on and over-run Carl as they have been fading in games, which is what you normally except from young sides, and I think Carl still have discipline issues in Fev and Stevens as evidenced last wk.

And just a quick bitch...how slow if the AFL website, and I think it was maybe the reason why my internet went down

I agree with you on both but just a caution on the bombers. In the past sides that have played extremely dominant sides the week before (like Essendon last week v Geelong) tend to perform below par the week after. Whether it exhaustion or whatever?

 

This was shown best when Brisbane was at their best. It'll be interesting to see if it has an impact this year.

Two intensive Flash apps just on the front page. I run  powerful machine at home and it just stalls it. I go to it at work and same thing unresponsive for about 10 seconds then slow as all hell. IE at work climbs to 120MB.

And one final thought (tip) for everyone who has a Sportingbet account...place a couple of bucks on West Adelaide in the SANFL to win Vs Norwood.  Believe me Norwood is bad, and I think their coach won't be there at the end of the season (I have predicted a coach to leave at the end of an SANFL season before) and I will be right again. 

 

PS  I know several West Adel boys for what it's worth.
