AFL - Melbourne Demons

Question

I wanted to start this thread a couple of weeks ago, but was just too lazy...however I wondering if anyone has noticed that the Demon&#x27;s have now covered the spread over the past 6 games straight.  This is not to say that I will be looking at taking them in the future especially this week against the Saints, however it is an interesting run that I thought was worth sharing with everyone who follow the AFL.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Any thoughts on their success would be appreciated as I personally don&#x27;t now much about their culture and club in general?

yes i know this, as i do support the demons. lol the dees do not have the class or skill compare to the cats, hawks etc but i cannot dispute there endeavour. they do alot of flooding and go out wide with chip kicks so forth. but in saying that the opposition has also let of the gas in the last qrt. but for now stay on the dees... they play the saints on the gold coast sat nite and i would think they will cover the +39pts on offer. gl with ur pick.

the venue helps a lot on this one... the question is always how Melbourne can score with Brad Miller and Robbo (a long way from his best).

My lean would be on the Dees to cover but I also expect the Saints to bounce back and control the game. They hopefully will follow the pattern and not care about the margin which allows the Dees to fight back and cover. The Dees sure do fight until the last second which is a good sign for them especially considering their list.

The Dees always throw in a very competitive quarter, which breaks the game down to three quarters. The opposition spends another two quarters (a half) blowing them open, then uses the final quarter remaining to relax and let the Dees drift back in.

i agree with MB about their endeavour. they have won their last 5 last quarters which includes Geelong, Hawthorn and WB.

they appear not to focus on the scoreboard andkeep playing hard to the end.

st kilda have looked flat the last couple of weeks. i think their intense game style has caught up with them. i don't mind melbourne getting the points here.
