$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ makes the world go round.

Bro, if you don't want to believe it, it's fine. But there's a lot of money involved and the image of the conference being left out of a 12 team playoff.
Even if there are bad calls, you will see it as regular mistakes and it is fine. I don't have a direct line to the ACC to know for sure what's going to happen, I'm just betting what I've seen multiple times which is conferences giving some help to teams that can make the playoffs. If it's just coincidence it's fine, if I lose it's ok, it happens. But it's what I firmly believe and I"ll put my money on it.
If you're on Duke, best of luck bro, let's enjoy the game.

I feel like we are going in circles. But since we have 10 minutes until Bama/Georgia I'm fine with it. Your missing my point.
I do agree that the ACC "wants" Virginia to win. Absolutely. But they (as in the top of the conference) are not pressuring the refs to make shady calls. What your going to do? Triple the pay all of the officials, the replay booth and any other one involved into making suspect calls. You forget, that refs have their performances reviewed by head of officiating. They do lose the opportunity to call conference games, playoff games, bowl games, etc if they have poor performances.
Perfect example was the ref in the Auburn/Georgia game earlier this year, Ken Williamson. Him and his team dropped the ball several times in that game. What was the result? No they didn't get a "bonus" to make sure Georgia got the W. They were suspended for the remainder of the season.
So do refs make bad calls in games? Sure. It happens. But they are not going to throw games for Virginia.
Having said all that, I don't like the game. But if I was betting it would be with Virginia, solely on data their balance on both sides of the ball.
