C'mon all sport is heading this way. Instead of a line being drawn between betting and sport it is becoming one and the same. The betting agencies sponsor the games and try find me now a sport where the players aren't asked about the start or where "favorite with the bookies is used".

I reckon down here we are going down a path much worse than in the states........I have watched plenty of NBA, MLB and NFL, i have never ever ever heard any of the commentators talk about betting, the line, etc etc, NEVER........In the league the other day, the commentators couldnt stop talking about the 52.5 start or whatever..........

He said about 10 yrs, there used to be $100 mill on a game of cricket (equivalent to melbourne cup), now $500 mill, this always attracts undesirable characters......
