Detroit???
Well, if he does he is not making more than the 7.5 lidstrom makes since thats the Wings policy. Paycut of nearly 4 million. I don't think so. Unless he pulls a Hossa and signs for 1 year...which is not the smartest thing to do.

BOS Trades Tim Thomas a 1st round pick (not this years though) & somebody else too ATL for KOVIE.
I think Bos feels confident with Rask in the pipes now. Atl gets the goalie they need Bos gets the sniper they need. Savard & Kovie go on too light up the N.H.L. together.
LOL i'm dreaming right ![]()

Who gives a shit.. stupid Russian should have figured out his future plans before the season started so that he could be on a team with a chance for a deep playoff run and jelled with new linemates instead of wasting the 1st half of the season.
Some stupid GM is going to overpay as usual for his services next year.. just like Chicago overpaid for Hossa.

Thrashers are not going to trade Kovy for Tim Thomas lol. Look at what the Pens had to give up for Hossa as a rental. Kovy is even better imo. Also PJ Stock said he thinks this will happen too..so you know it wont!
Habs have no cap space at all for him and the picks and prospects we would have to give up for him is just not worth it..as a rental.
If the Hawks pulled that off we might as well just hand them the cup.
