before that had a easy winner on New Orleans vs the Giants and my only loss was in the nfl monday night first half under that had most important defensive player injured in first quarter and 2 punt return tds for touchdowns in the first half...huge moose as before the injury it was still 0-0 with already about 10 minutes of scorless football until the floodgates blew open once Dawkins got injured...Rivers looked like Joe Montana out there..you could tell the Denver defense was nothing without their leader Dawkins out there.
so 2-1 but should be 3-0..but thats ok mooses happen.

They just came off a horrible road trip and see themselves in LAST PLACE in their division and they look up at the top of the division and they see who in first? The Colorado Avalanche! and guess who their playing tonight? The Colorado Avalanche...a Chance to show the top team in the division that their NOT as bad as everyone thinks...a chance to break the losing streak and a chance to be back home and beat the divisions 1st place team...and guess what their ONLY back home for this game as they then return on the road for ANOTHER road game and they HATE being on the road...they know inside their mind that they MUST win this game tonight and there are alot of things in their favor tonight.
Mikko Koivu was just named Captain,expect a inspired effort by him and the rest of the Wild team to SHOW taht they are 100% behind their captain,they will be extremely motivated to start this new era of minnesota wild hockey on the good foot...a fresh start per say...they get to rid of all their negative thoughts and start with a CLEAN slate mentally....also they have come back home to see their families after their long BAD road trip,many might not think this is a good thing but when you lose so much dont u want something POSTIVE in your life to get you back on the right track and to rejuvenate you energy?
Of course and tonight they get it in MULTIPLE ways...you see they ALSO debut their NEW third jersey tonight.(brand new mental start and start brand new giving them a chance to mentally forget about their losing streak and start fresh..minset and confidence is CRUCIAL) Mikko Koivu first game as captain(brand new start) and already explain that angle...ONE game at home before going back on the road...they need to get this monkey off their back(losing streak that is)
On Colorado side they have had a GREAT start to the season...and on the end of a HUGE road trip,this is their last game on the road before going back home and u better believe their satisfied with their result already,nobody expected them to do this good and you got to believe their energy will not be at 100% tonight.....they went to Canada and beat Toronto and MTL and then went to 2 time Stanley Cup Finalists Detroit and while Losing 2-0 in the 3rd period came all the way back to force Overtime and win in a SHOOTOUT...Can u Spell.....
Letdown?( in multiple ways)
So there it is folks....a HUNGRY...FRESH minded Team who get HAVLAT back tonight and is DESPERATE for a win and some Respect Get it tonight......
