I will use custom odds from time to time (certainly today), odds that previously existed at my bookie before disappearing, like -0.75 or -1.25 etc.
Take -1.25 for ex: I bet to win half the expected profit on -1 and half on -1.5. If it wins by 1 goal, I push the first bet and lose the second one, which is necessarily lower. Less juice and less than half-loss if the team doesn't cover.
Other ex., -0.75: bet to win half on ML and half on -1. Win by 1 goal, you get a half-win.
All combinations are possible, including OT and reg for ex., depending on the odds and my feelings about the risk to assume on the particular game.
However, custom odds will be recorded as 1 single bet (half-loss recorded as a loss for ex.) but I'll show the details FYI (and for those who'd like to tail...).
