DAL ML -130 (Public is currently edging the Stars)
I usually don't like siding with the public but it's the best game/price available IMO. Siding with the Isles, Caps, or Oilers (public is all over the Pens, Wild, and Wings respectively) doesn't match-up well when I did my DD and they are all road teams. And even though Dallas is on the road versus the Blues, there are some nice trends supporting the play.
Stars are 10-3 in their last 13 games playing on 2 days rest.
Stars are 11-2 in their last 13 overall.
Stars are 7-1 in their last 8 road games.
Blues are 4-9 in their last 13 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
Blues are 22-55-6 in their last 83 in the fourth game of a 4-in-6 situation.
Blues are 6-15 in their last 21 overall.
Yes the Blues do have some matchup edges (Home teams are 32-10-5 and the Stars are 5-16-2 in their last 23 meetings in STL) but taking the Stars at -130 isn't too bad a price to play for a Top 5 team in the NHL.
