First of all, how many fukking times are the Blues and Preds going to play each other this year??? I'd say after tonight, they'll know each other pretty well. Up until now, the Blues had been one of my favorite teams to bet because I think they're one of the most talented teams in hockey and we were only paying -125*-150. But....-190 tonight against a Preds team who has proven to be able to beat them???? Wow! My betting style keeps me from playing PL's. I'd rather lay -180 on a team I think will win rather than worry about juice/profits and play PL's when the risk of losing is much greater. That said, I think -190 is too much tonight. I layed -170 on St Louis against Columbus in which I thought was a no brainer....some thought I was nuts. So, some would really think I was mental to lay -190 against Nashville tonight. Columbus isn't even close to being in the same class as Nashville and yet the lines are relatively close. Goes to show you how dumb the oddsmakers are to think home ice is really that meaningful. As for a parlay, I lean with St Louis tonight but Nashville plays them tough.@ -190, I'd look for other matchups tonight.....and I'm nowhere close to being a "value" player. I've bet on Nashville 3 times as moderate dogs and they've come through for me. They are a gritty team

Nothing is worse than betting against your team and losing the fukking bet.....especially when youre at the game....everyone is cheering and giving knucks and you're the only fool there feeling like shitt. Enjoy the game buddy...I'll be at the San Jose game pulling for our Sharks tonight ![]()

I like that Philly pick but dont have the balls to pull the trigger.
I believe the Flyers will go on a nice run.
Also,,,why do you like the Sharks? I might just tail you but can you give me some insight? Thanks,
Curitiba.
All the Best!

I think the Sharks are the deepest team in hockey. Havlat is playing on the 3rd line for fuckks sake.....not that I agree with that but who am I to argue with Mac, the coach quickest to 200 victories. I'd rather see Gomez on the 3rd line but that's just me. I also like San Jose's size on defense...should allow Niemi to see the puck and make Chicago shoot from the perimeter. Chicago has looked good against teams with one scoring line but we'll see how well they fare against 3 scoring lines tonight. I don't like Chicago's defense and they'll have to expend energy in their own end tonight, for sure. San Jose faced two hot goaltenders in their last two games but I have no respect for Crawford. He's had the luxury of playing in the majority of his games with goal support....he's the type of goaltender who plays not to lose. How many games has he won 2-1 or 3-2? I think he's good medicine for San Jose tonight even if it is on the second leg of a b2b. This is one of those games where home ice does mean something because Mac will make line changes according to who Chicago has on the ice.

Thanks AMD.
Im seeing that Preds have been on the road all but 2 games this season. They are 3-2-1 on the road..Pretty effing good. Must be tiring to be in hotels for most of the season. Blues also havent lost at home going 3-0.
I can easily see the Blues killing the Preds cuz of the road factor but im not stupid enough to lay now -197!

Hey bro-you know I was with you last night on the Ducks!
If you think the Blues are way over priced, why not play situations like this with the Preds? Hit 3/5 and you're ahead by a fair amount...
Kings D is in trouble without Greene and Mitchell fyi...besides the hangover I predicted a month ago...GL!

Nice hit with the Ducks buddy ![]()
Regarding Nashville, I only like making wagers on teams who I think will win. Even though Nashville has tremendous "value" tonight, I don't like wasting my money on "value" plays...same goes with baseball. As much as I don't like the Blues @ -200, I can't go against them at home when their defense is good enough to shut down a team that has been offensively inept. Ill take my chances with Nashville in other spots.
I think Quicks back surgery in the offseason will start to catch up with him very soon....4-5 games in a week isn't what the doctor ordered. I won't be on the Kings too many times this season.
