in fact....i'm not sure why any team in the west would make any real move.....unless your a team like the Jackets who only want to get in and that would be a success

if it doesn't matter and its already a formaility then why would ppl even watch or care??  clearly they are a favourite but that doesn't mean its a foregone conclusion...

TSN reported a few minutes ago that Peter Forsberg was going to announce his retirement tonight in Denver. Apparently, that's not the case. "It's not true," Forsberg's agent Don Baizley told ESPN.com "Peter is not in North America and it's not true he's retiring tonight."

An Eastern Conference source says the Derek Morris chase is heating up as we tick toward the 3 pm ET deadline. The source claims the Caps, Rangers and Flyers are the main competitors for the Coyotes defenseman.
