On a nice little run last week. After a 1-4 start to the season (Net Loss $551.20),

we bounced back w/ at 4-2 week neeting us a profit $668.00.

We still suffered some tough losses during this campaign but that's gambling.

After some feedback from two of our contributor's (KeyMaster) & (BristolNole)

on my observations on Saturday (regarding the Av's), I've decided to apply both

of their comments to my choices to for today's card.

K-Man suggested laying off the Av's until they start winning again.

I see Blackwood is between the pipes today but has been off due to the fact

his wife was having a baby, so not sure if the short layoff will affect his and

his head will be in the game. So no play reguarding the side.

BristolNole noted from my comments that it would make sense to play the

Av's opponents goalie prop for over on the number of saves, as a result of

the high number of shots the Av's take in the L5 games.

The only down side I see from playing this prop is if the Av's fil up the net early,

then the opposition may change the goalie, subsequently changing the netminder

before reaching the required total required. Regardless, I have really appreciate the

insight and will monitor and possibly make this a play today.

Still licking my wounds from the early beating the Knights took from the Sens.

Of an interesting note, The Avs had 39 shots vs the Leafs yesterday.

This would make BristolNole's observation of betting the "over" for "saves" for Av's opponent goalie a perfect 6-0. (see my Friday or Saturday thread for details).

It looks like this is an opportunity to cash until the books start catching on.
