The LEAFS host the rival SABRES today and with the was the LEAFS are going on this home stand I have no issues playing them tonight on the reg -0.5 +115. And it's not just this home stand that T.O is succeeding on,they have been pretty damn good at the ACC all year where they hold a solid 11-5-2-2 record. The SABRES though haven't really been good anywhere as they're 1 game above 500 at home and 1 game below on the road. But I guess you can't expect much better when you have dropped 5 of 6,8 of 10 and 15 of your L21 games. These two teams hate each other and rivalry games can often have some surprising outcomes but with the current form of the 2 teams the LEAFS look well worth taking a shot on tonight to me.

I don't like to do it all the time but I have had some success this season picking my spots and betting against the WINGS on the road. Tonight will not be one of those times, even with Conky in the net. The WINGS are only 11-12 on the road but have been playing pretty well lately with 5 wins L7 overall and the only 2 loses being a 3-2 defeat in CHI which is one of the toughest barns in the league to play in. And a 4-3 loss to T.O this past weekend where they spotted the LEFAS a 3-0 1st period league yet closed the gap and still took the game down to the wire. And the ISLES return home after a 3 game trip which has been tough on most teams this year and on top of that it's not like the ISLES are juggernauts at home anyways where they're just 8-9 on the year. And Nabby who hasn't played very much over the past few seasons may be feeling the effects of 8 straight starts since he's allowed 9 goals on 45 shots against ANA & PHX,two teams that haven't exactly been turning on the red light too often this season. So even thoguh we have two backups starting I'll side with more rested tender but more importantly the FAR better team.

The RANGERS haven't done it with
as much flash or as many 8-0 dismantlings but they have put together a
run similar to BOS's 23-4-1 run over the past couple months. Since Oct
31st the RAGS have won 23 of their L30 games and actually sit at 56
points on the year which is 3 more than BOS's 53. Since NYR do it more
with defense I don't usually play the -1.5 to the over parlays I have
been with BOS but I will once again gladly take them at home on the reg
-0.5 line at -115. Especially against a PHX team that have only a pair
of wins in their L8 games and they came in the form of a 5-1 beating of
the ISLES (woo hoo) and a 4-2 win to the decimated WILD (yippie). Sure
the YOTES could grease out a boring 2-1 o.t victory but when a team is
as hot as the RAGS I like to ride the trend until it ends, not try and
guess when it will buck. Gimmie NYR at home (12-3-0-2) all day. And
since the total is at 5 flat I gave to say the -1.5 to O 5 parlay is
looking a lil more tempting than usual.

Well I finally see a dog I like tonight and it's the SENS over the PENS. For the millionth times the PENS have been continuously impressive this year the way they've handled the injures but maybe the wheels are starting to fall off a bit. They have currently lost 4 straight while being outscored 13-5 and have only been able to score a single goal in each of their L3 contests. That probably won't be enough tonight when they host a SENS team that scores in bunches and is averaging 3.4 L5. And the SENS won't have to face M.A.F tonight as he gets the night off leaving Brent Johnson to fill in. And B.J hasn't played since DEC 16th when he faced these same SENS and allowed 5 goals in 2 period of work. I can see the PENS being the fave here of maybe -125-30 but if they wanna give me OTT on the regML at +135 with a 60 tie being a push I'm allover it.
