I've stopped till playoffs but this is interesting. Dallas has nothing to play for but Toronto does, well, not really. Toronto currently holds the 5th spot in the lottery. IF, they fall out of the top 5, meaning any points, Boston gets their number 1 pick next year. Can you say TANK...

I would wait and see the Sens lineup. This might be a "I don't won't it, you take it..no, I don't won't it either, you can have it" In other words, wouldn't touch it.

The Senators lost 4-3 in overtime in New Jersey on Sunday. Since January 25th, the Senators are 5-0 at home following a loss, winning by scores of 7-1, 2-0, 3-2, 4-1, and 6-3. Meanwhile the Maple Leafs are concluding the miserable second half of their season with six straight losses, and as mentioned above, they have incentive to hold certain players back tonight to ensure another defeat.

I'm on the Senators -190 and I also parlayed them to the Golden Knights -280. The Golden Knights need to defeat the Kraken tonight in regulation to avoid the prospect of losing the Pacific Division to the Oilers should the Oilers take care of the Canucks tomorrow night at home.

They are resting everyone i think. And both teams starting bad goalies. It sounds easy betting against the leafs here but they historically screw their fans over and winning a game like this and I would not put it past them. Also wouldn't the sens rather Toronto get the pick than the Bruins who are currently a much bigger threat in the division. Line is too high imo to touch this one.

One of the luckiest empty net goals I've ever seen, but I'll take it. Toronto player with the puck at the Sens blue line with 15 ticks left. Only has to dump it in and that will be game over. Instead the fool pisses around trying to advance it himself and has it stolen from him leading to a 2 on 0 Sens break that involves some meaningless inter-passing before the open goal is penetrated. A gift from the hockey gods.

What's at stake for tonight...hmmmmm. Actually, a lot. Edmonton needs one point to secure home ice and the second see in the Passific. If Anaheim gets one point, they secure the third seed. However, with a Kings win, Ducks regulation loss, Kings get the third seed and get to face Edmonton once again and the Ducks get to play Colorado. But, there is an hour difference in puck drop with Ducks and Kings. LA will know the results of Ducks game by start of third period, and trust me, they will be paying attention. Which means any point by Ducks, Kings could go through the motions in the 3P or they could be playing for something.
Good luck with what ever you decide.

Well, well, well...Calgary has decided to play the Tank Game as well. Guess they want to remain in the #3 slot and not let the Rangers move up. They are starting Sergeev, who has been awful in the AHL. 5-13-8, .898% and 3.29 GA

Calgary has gone a season-high 8 home games without conceding a 4+ goal total in regulation. Previous longest home streaks this season of this nature prior to this current one were 5 games (twice), 4 games & 3 games (twice).
As for LA's motivation beyond the obvious, this is Kopitar's final ever regular season game in a Kings uniform.

OK Crowns...you are in between periods and just found out Ducks won. You either get the 2 points and face Edmonton or get less and face extinction in rd 1 with the Avs..
