Not sure why everyone is pondering, Buff/Bos.  I think its one of the easiest on the board.  Buff will take this in 5.  They have struggled against teams that can score, but they will have no problem with the bruins.  Buff Def, goaltending and penality kill will be enough to take this series.  Not to mention they through 4 lines out every game, with even scoring from all 4 lines.  Their well coached, disciplned and play within a system.  All attributes for a long run the playoffs.  I'm calling for them to lose in the conf. finals to the capitals ( in 6).

if San Hoser beats the Avalanche 1st round, which they SHOULD, they will come up against a much BETTER team in the 2nd like the Coyotes or Red Wings or (less likely) the Predators or Kings.

I will agree with the Capitals because they remind me of the early 90's Penguins. yes their D is average at best and the goaltending is questionable BUT they FILL the NET. their kind of an NHL version of the the New Orleans Saints in the NFL.

as for the West, I can see one of four teams in the finals with the Bhawks and Canucks being #1 and #1a (Eh?), the RW's #2 and the Coyotes as an outside chance #3. forced to pick I would say Bhawks

I remember hearing the same thing about Ward last year when Carolina was set to take on Jersey.

The flyboys were built for the play-offs and are more than capable of pulling off the big upset. They just match up well against the devils

I'm taking the flyers every game they're a dog and hoping its a long series.
