In summary, it's not the current streak that has swayed me.  This is an extremely talented offensive bunch.  They just needed the right puppet master to pull the strings.

and this guys was stalking me almost all season telling me how all of my picks were going to be lose....I was fine with that because everytime he said i would lose I probably won about 90% of those plays so I never said anything...
 
there are some posters on Covers who are great fades....it's sorry to say and I wont name names....but I have made some cash by just fading another person that I know.....just the way it is.....this guy is the biggest chalk layer on Covers and he could not pick his way out of a paper bag.
 
sometimes when you have 1000 views in your thread it's not because you are picking winnners
 
anyway I digress.....
 
 
as far as tonights game goes, for me it comes down to the style of play I think Toronto is going to try and bring...it's not their fault it's just what they do at home....they play wide open fancy fancy hockey and that fits the Caps better than it does them.....
 
I dont know why but on the road the Leafs seems to tighten up more and play more D....maybe they feel like the have to put on a "show" for the home fans?  i dont know what it is....
 
it's just a flatout matchup mis-mtach that has me liking the Caps tonight.
 
 
of course this is not a L*ck or a game of the year and i'm not starting a thread saying "Caps will crush the Leafs tonight"

i get what your saying about fading........never looked at any thread that way. i try to pay attention to the wise but it would help to know who the bad bettors are for sure...
i do have a friend who is terrible at capping football...i faded him some  but i cant count on him regularly. keeping  eyes opean.

and by the way the person I am talking about does NOT bet on hockey....he bets baseball, football and basketball.....
 
and I was in a bad mood when I posted all of that....
 
I should not really talk about that kinda stuff.....but it's the truth, this person posted something like a 225 - 200 reccord in MLB last year playing almost nothing but chalk.....if he was really betting money he was down a ton....plus all these long writeups about the games as well.....well of course you can write something up about how the chalk is going to win because it's the fav team they are supposed to win! LOL
 
 
the reason I post my plays is because I always found sports betting to be anti social....i enjoy talking to everyone about their plays and sports betting in general.....

it was a GREAT NFL season for sure....had a blast and made some cash in process....
 
I have been staying out of the basketball forums for the most part as I have not been betting any hoops....a few plays here and there but not alot of them....my main focus has been on the NFL and NHL.....hockey season has been going pretty good as well....i got of to a crazy good start and I have at least been able to build the profits slowly from there....always nice to start off on a good note....

But everything is well now, Thank You Bro!  Had some rollercoasterride ending for the year 07 though... And I chose to take some time off from Covers,'cause I felt it affected too much to my analysis...  Dunno after all... Well I went back to basics...
 
Great to hear You have been doing good!  But on the other hand, I'm not suprised  , You are solid Bro!!!
My season:
Hobbies: NFL, great start, some slowing down in the middle and great playoffs. The crown was NYG+points in the conference finals. I was in big and was sweating my shirt off watching the game!  But what a great game it was!!!  (Total negative side of the season for me was the "success" of Colts and my main man PM...  As You probably guessed...  )
Living: Soccer, selected gems only, +++good  .
NBA, first week superduper great, two weeks on agony and I took almost complete leave of absence for the rest of the year. Now steady + game, only very few plays with medium stakes...
NHL, from the start to the middle of december I tripled+ my NHL bankroll . Then I lost almost every day (small) to the 23rd of dec, and I had huge plays on that day. And the day was a shipwreck, something like 2-10, missing all the big plays... Took a leave of absence for the rest of the year  . Now ok, not too many plays, but I've been doing nicely. F.ex.hit Minnie (RT +200) and Over (Over 5,5 +150) big on monday. Thank You Luongo... 
 
Bb, hmmmmm... Let's see... It was fun  , but hard   . I definitely will be joinig bb Forum this year too...  At least I have room to improve...
 
I think that now I'm back "for good"...  At least I'm not going to take breaks of this caliber anymore!!! It's good to be back and good to see You here Bro!!!  I'll be bothering and harrassing You more from now on...  (I might even offer some opinions on NHL and jinx everybodys plays  ...)

A) I posted this in this forum because this is the forum I post in on a daily basis.

B) I cannot make a comment on your page as you need to have the person listed as a friend in order to post and you have not accepted anyone on your page as a friend.

C) I did not name names so I'm sorry if you feel like I was talking about you.

D) You could contact me if you so choose but obviously you choose not to so it's all good. I have never started any shit or done anything to you in the past but you chose to end our friendship for reasons I do not know.
