Had a crazy busy day yesterday but thought I would wing it and make 4 bets. Realized how dumb that was and cashed out of all 4. Good thing...I would've gone 1-3. I've had time to research today...
Here's what I'm liking:
DAL ML (-105) 2.1 units to win 2. Over the last 10 games the Stars are averaging 4.3 goals per game and giving up only 2. In the same span the Devils are scoring 2.8 and giving up 3. Dallas did lose to the Rangers yesterday, but Shesterkin owns the Stars lately with a 7-1-1 record against them. The Devils don't have a Shesterkin to bail them out of this one. Or a Hughes.
WPG/MON Over 6 (-125) 2.5 units to win 2. Neither team plays defense, with WPG allowing 3.6 goals per game over their last 10 and the Habs giving up 4.4 goals per game over their last 10. Dobes is the expected starter tonight for Montreal and there have been 7+ goals scored in EIGHT straight games Dobes starts in. Hoping to make it 9 straight.
ANA ML (-110) 2.2 units to win 2. The Ducks are 8-2 in their last 10 home games. The Mammoth are 0-8 in their last 8 road games. I don't like the Ducks starting a backup goalie but at this point the Mammoth are an auto fade on the road until further notice, especially against teams that dominate at home.
SJ ML (+135) 2 units to win 2.7. An unstoppable force meets an immovable object. You've got the veteran Caps on a heater, winning 8 of their last 9 and scoring over 4 goals per game. You've got the young gun Sharks who started the season 0-5 at home but have since gone 9-2 on home ice and are starting to gel as a team. SJ goalie Askarov has been a wall, posting an 8-2 record in November with a 0.947 save percentage. The Sharks have won 7 home games in a row with Askarov in net. The Caps will likely start Charlie Lindgren, who has given up 3+ goals in 6 of his last 7 starts and has a GAA of 3.71 in that span. Give me the Sharks yet again at plus money.
For those looking for safer bets, the +1.5-puck line when Askarov starts at home for SJ is 9-0 this season.
And for fun:
Will Smith (SJ) Over 0.5 points (-150) 1.5 units to win 1. Smith has 1+ points in 10 out of the last 12 Shark home games.
