I definitely agree with the single play a night and the unit scoring (the only way to go), sorry if my post was misleading.

 

I don't take vacations, but I take 3-4 "breaks" during the year to recharge my batteries to help my mind stay fresh. Most of the time, it is during the inevitable losing streaks. These breaks usually are only 3-4 days at a time.

I think a minimum number of plays for the season will work...

I think I will use the 150 plays just to make it easy.....

and nah....thats another reason I am limiting the amount of players to 30 and only 1 pick a day

like I said before even if it takes me 1 full minute to grad and update each player....thats only 30 minutes out of my day...

heck I think I just stare at my computer screen in the morning for at least an hour before I start to get anything done

this will at least give me something productive to do

Hey Weathered...you seem very organized.  I'm sure if you come across any obstacles during the course of the contest, you can deal with them as they arise.  This event is free, so nobody can really gripe about anything.  It's like you mentioned earlier..... it's more about bragging rights, chest pounding & pride.  Plus, if somebody does get hot or on a roll, i'd tail them with real money plays.  That's when the serious diniero' hits the books.

As for the ''Jimmy Hoffa'' disappearing act, I was looking ahead to the Christmas Season.  Most people have to travel, so some of us might have to select a couple of days picks at one shot.  Depending where we go.....when we leave.  I know there is a full slate of games DEC. 23, then the NHL is ''off'' until Boxing Day.  

Other than that.... GL everybody & may the best Original 6 errrrrrrrrr person win
