Totals aren't my thing,but since i only have to come up with one a day. I'll give it a try.

Pretty sure it'll be units won.  1 unit per game, everything based on the juice....so someone winning a +105 total would be +.05 units better than someone winning a -105 total.

I'll drop the gloves and give it a go.  Providing I qualify with Weathered's fore-mentioned criteria.
 
I assume Weathered will start a new thread every day so we can post game day selections?  Also if a fella' is planning on pulling a ''Jimmy Hoffa'' and dissappearing for a few days....I can in advance  post 4 - 5 days worth of picks on one thread posting?
 
I kinda' already have the prize money spent...
1st Place - $100 (pays off last nights beer tab)
2nd Place - $50 (makes up for coins tossed at ''dancer'')
3rd Place - $25 (covers cost of pickled eggs consumed)
 
Ok Blue Jacket Fan (Weathered) let me know if I qualify & if you want/need a specimen sample.  If so, then I'll maybe just sit this one out.

jrock is 100% right....I want to reward those who take the chance and play + money totals....also I dont want everyone just taking those big - 130 totals that we so often see....

The contest will be based on Units won....not %

O6 thats a good point you bring up....if someone knows they are going to be gone maybe we can allow them to make extra picks in advance....but I wont allow this to be abused.

hmmm....I dont know, thats a good question

I think I remember them posting the lines the night before back when I used them....

I just picked them because I thought it would be easy...

I'm willing to take a vote from the contestants as to what book to use

I'm fine with Pinny.

I don't know of any books that post lines more than a day in advance.  most of my books dont post until day of, especially if the teams involved have a game to play prior to the line in question.

makes sense....i guess we just have to pick a book and roll with what they do....it will be the same for everyone

I was a regular reader of 3 girls thread but didnt post much
I Primarily posted in NHL but cashed out so I could vacation in Maui.

i am in weathered, btw i would suggest putting a cap on the units wagered i.e 1-5 or something like that. if not what is to stop people from chasing 100 units etc., just a suggestion

Each play will be for 1 Unit only

Example:

Under 5.5 (- 105) will be Risk 1.05 Units to win 1 Unit

Over 5.5 (+ 105) will be Risk 1 Unit to win 1.05 Units

Updated Rules
 
 
1. You pick your 1 best total from that days card along with the current juice posted at PinnacleSports.com. I will keep track of Units won/lost and the poster with the most Units won at the end of the season wins the $100 prize and the bragging rights. 2nd place pays $50 and 3rd place pays $25.
 
2. Everyone will use current lines found at PinnacleSports.com
 
3. Single games only....no Grand Salami wagers.
 
4. All Picks must be posted in the daily thread at least 5 minutes before the scheduled gametime.
 
5. All Plays posted in this contest will be for 1 Unit only.
 
6. The contest will run from Opening Day through the last game of the Stanley Cup Final.
 
7. You dont have to post a pick every day. But if you dont post at least 5 picks in a week I will warn you. If you go another week without posting at least 5 picks I will drop you from the contest. This will eliminate anyone who has given up on the contest, ect. Of course if your going to be going on Vacation or something just let me know and that will be fine.
