As a Kings fan, I know how good they have been and how bad at times. As for players, they have had a slew of good and great players.
Problem with the recent ownership has been thier lack of desire to field(ice) a winning team. They have traded thier assets before having to resign them.
I believe the ownership might have finally turned the corner and seen the light. I wrote them a long nasty letter last season and things have began looking up so far since then.

Yeah I remember that very well.......I was banking on that to seal my point total under for them I wagered on at the start of the season. They won that last freaking game against the Sharks to lose the wager for me.

They have been very good on the road this year. The pieces they have added have really paid off. A few more key players and the Cup finally goes to the Kings for the first time since thier 1967 expansion birth.

SJ threw away that game and then the post season shorthly after that...... again.
Blame the Sharks, not the Kings. Tough break, hopefully you took LA and over this season.

They were shorthanded during the stretch and did not have the depth on offense needed to win. Now they are better on both offense and defense with the ability for the younger players to shine as well. They have a great thing going this season. They won't falter this time since they have become a deeper team.

Doughty is awesome as is Jack Johnson in my opinion
