Huge Game Tonight in World Junior Tourney

The U.S. and Canada meet tonight to decide the winner of Group A at the World Junior hockey tournament.

The Canadian team is a small favorite at -120, while the total is set at 6.5.

Any thoughts on the outcome of tonight's game, which goes at 8 p.m. 

US + 1.5 safe bet. USA ML or to win by exactly 1 goal 

USA can score this Canadian team can’t. Also they take a lot of penalties and the USA power play will have lots of chances. George has to steal the game for Canada to have a chance. Cameron can’t coach and they didn’t pick the best players. He brought Pinelli one of his players from the 67s over Misa the leading scorer in the OHL who is an absolutely pure goal scorer. What’s this teams problem they can’t score.

Canada might not even medal this year.

However no game is ever meaningless when the States and Canada get together in a hockey game. Also, the winner of tonight's game receives an inferior opponent in the next round.

Actually, I think the loser gets Sweden and you don't won't that right now. They looked the best from what I have seen

Canada obviously haven't look very good so far other than the Finland game so either they aren't very good or they have been playing down to their competition? I am from Canada and really don't want to bet against them but I do think the States have been the better team up until now.

I found an over 6.5 +105 so will go for that tonight for a small wager.

I'm located about 3 miles from the Canadian Tire Center and it's going be an electric atmosphere in that building tonight - maybe even worth a goal or a couple of penalties in Canada's favor.

 I agree..in that you have to play the team eventually. It is sad at the cost of certain sports, hockey, golf....Happy New Year PB..

Well that two-some didn't fare very well. I had to wonder about your Sharks pick, who came into this game against the Flyers on a seven game losing skid.

Thankfully I stayed clear of that disaster. 

There's a big difference in talent between Czechia and Switzerland and that now is who Canada the the States have to play respectively.

They should be very much concerned, as the Czechia team is not all that bad. Hopefully the Canadian squad learned a lesson last night in that they have to be more disciplined and stay clear of the penalty box. Way too many penalties against the U.S.. We'll see how they fare tomorrow.
