NHL is foolish to keep doing the Olympics but the players want to go and that is the CBA they signed. But for the NHL they get nothing out of it, they have no rights to highlights or anything. Finally they are starting to do their own thing First Nations Faceoff was a good start let see how the y do the next one it's supposed to be expanded. I always said the NHL should follow MLB footsteps with how they do the World Baseball Classic have games all over the world with the finals in NA.
As for Olympics the other issue is no Russia. I get the whole Ukraine thing but I think its beyond time to stop punishing Russian athletes who have absolutely nothing to do with he war. Your taking out arguably one of the top 3 teams in a best on best
