To me, Canada's team looks soft, pretty much all pussies.
Can you be banned? Iginla, Morrow, Richards, Pronger, Seabrook, Weber are all warriors. Canada is probably going to be hands down the most physical team.

Well, the Sharks struggle against inferior teams in the playoffs, like Nashville always give them a hard time and they pretty much have nobodies on their roster.
Alright dude quit talking lol you don't know shit. We beat Nash 4 to 1 in '06 and '07 and have never lossed a series to them in the playoffs.

You just have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. In the playoffs nabokov has a .915 save percentage and a 2.23 GAA. in the last olympics he had 3 shutouts in 7 games. Not exactly a choke artist. Luongo wont even be the starting goalie! it will be brodeur who has WON A GOLD MEDAL and multiple stanley cups. Please just dont even add anymore to this thread you have absolutely nothing to contribute
4 years ago, Nabby was in his prime......due to age, he's probably worse now

Why do u think the sharks haven't signed him to a long-term contract?? cause they know that if the Sharks don't win this year, they will let him go......

I agree that at the current odds Canada arent the best bet. I would rank Sweden as by far the best betting angle but Canada imo is the best team. Whats on paper doesnt win you championships or gold medals but none of us know what kind of chemisty any of these teams will have and alot will have to do with what players are playing the best going into the tournament and which ones stay the healthiest. Canada's roster has less question marks then Swedens (depth, defence) and Russia (Defence/possibly goaltending). Team Balance, toughness, special teams, home ice/smaller ice will be what wins Canada the Gold imo. You can disagree with that but lets not make this roster into one that has huge ? marks because it doesnt.

Lol this is too much.. Please stop.. You point out one player and that suddenly makes them a soft team. Id take toews in a fight over malkin, semin, datsyuk, gonchar, zetterberg, sedins anyday. Oh but wait that isnt toews role at all and he might not even be playing. Either way he is the captain of a team that just went to the conference finals please stop with the ignorant posting

He's a solid defencemen. He still isnt good enough to make team canada's blueline.
What about Kalinin, Grebshkov, Kornayev, Tyutin. These guys arent anything special.
Don't know much about Kornayev, but Kalinin and Tyutin can hold their own.....I actually really like Grebeshkov...unfortunately he plays for the worst team in the league and doesn't get much credit.
I would rather have Volchenkov on my team than either Blackhawks D-man. That's just me I know you could argue either way.

They can hold there own as NHL players but its a totally different beast in a best on best tournament. Theres prolly 30 defencemen from Canada that are better then Kalinin or Tyutin.
You taking Volchekov over Keith is absolutely hilarious. Volchenkov is a solid defencemen who does alot of little things. Duncan Keith is a franchise defencemen who could possibly win the norris trophy this season. If you would seriously take Volchenkov on your team over Keith then you'd make a horrible NHL GM.
