It was all with sarcasm. Feel sorry for Gavin. High expectations from that crowd. Actually, the winner to me was the Sharks. They are building something that will equal Habs youth in the next several years.

I feel sorry for any athlete drafted by the Leafs, and their years of futility prove it.
There is no other team in pro sports that's so mis-directed and has somehow managed to stay solvent.
The Leafs organization has been very fortunate to control the hockey market they fall into. Unfortunately for them they take their fans and revenue for granted and think it will last forever. Times are changing, and individuals don't have time to or fortitude to cheer on losers forever. The game is changing and the Leafs are not adapting. Their fans are jumping ship and cheering on teams where they see young progressive talent building a strong franchise winning for the next decade.
A simple question, How can a team build a winning mentality when there is nobody within the organization who has won ANYTHING?
The last time the Leafs advanced past the second round of the playoffs was 2004. In 2026 they missed the playoffs.. Last time the won a cup was 1967.

At least he'll get paid (McKenna), but yeah tough place to go to Rookie season with a Front Office that has no idea what they are doing...

Would love to see AM with Celle./Smith That line would be disgusting
