just saw this thread.

offense defense goaltending all terrible .

huge flyers fan .......... not a bandwagon fan either .  they looked bad going into the playoffs , they played worse in the playoffs . not physical enough for the sabres let alone the bruins . even if they beat the bruins they would lose in the next round . not their year . as embarrasing as it was getting swept by the bruins , they didnt show up. atleast they didnt go up 3-0 and then shit the bed

if you think goaltending was the only reason they got swept, then you really didn't watch that series or know anything about the flyers.....the whole team was a step behind.  yeah a better goalie would've helped, but in the games that the flyers won during the playoffs, its not like it was bc of the goalies...it was bc the flyers actually played to their capabilities....disappointing end to a fun season to watch.....please get rid of hartnell, zherdev, and shelley

1.Cant win in the playoffs playing musical goaltending
2.Defensively they didnt help the goaltending cause
3.The star players didnt show up....hell nobobdy but JVR and Coburn showed up that series.

4.Lastly,i think the dressing room divide of the vets and young players has finally caught up to them.....i wont be surprised to see one of Carter,Richards or Hartnell attempted to be dealt for a goaltender.Also expect some players getting called out as so called "cancers" in the dressing room.I think some surprising changes may come this summer

zherdev has his moments i know, but that dude is nowhere to be found when he doesn't have the puck on his stick, he's worthless w/o the puck imo, flyers need better two way players if theyre going to get better next season..theres a good reason why lavy sat him consistently
