Flyers fan vent thread

I've seen Montreal crumble when they had no Markov. They simply were not a deep or good team. Flyers are deep and pretty good...it was more than just losing Pronger.

I remember some of the Flyers players reactions after weak goals in round 1. You ever played hockey when your goalie just failed you time and time again? It kills you mentally. Its quite commendable they came back vs the Sabres the way they did.

No room for mistakes like that vs Boston. You had a chance in Game 2 and Thomas just ripped your heart out.

Well, he played the most minutes of any player in Round 1 on any team. And the Krejci line which killed you, did nothing vs Montreal. Horton did have 2 OT goals but neither had anything to do with him.

I expect the offense from him, but honestly was very surprised at how good he was defensively considering that is his "weakness." He's not perfect but no rookie is.

You can always find a way to be useful. Always cracked jokes about Hal Gill being a pylon but seriously, I love the guy now as Hab. He's a beast on the PK when he just lays on the ice and sprawls out covering about 10 feet of ice with his reach lol.
