Again you missed my point he is the best player hands down ask 30 GMs who they would take first overall in a draft. So don't give me Chara is better that's a friggin joke in itself. You are going by an all star game that's a To funny. Crosby has won at every level he has played in. You ask any hockey personnel or who knows anything about the game in the world and I will almost guarentee they would all tell you Crosby is the player they think is the best in the world right now. So what he whines when your the best in the world he gets that pass from me he makes everyone around him better ask his teammates see what they say. Remember last series against Ottawa did you see him skate by Malkin and tap his shin pad with his stick and give Malkin an earful to wake the darn up. That is a leader so yeah he whines if that's your reason why you don't like him you have that right but don't tell me you wouldn't take him on your team and tell me there's a better player in the world.
Read my post carefully. I wasn't going from an all star game. I said at the All Star game, CHARA SAID DATSYUK IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE. Again, this is just adding to my point that Crosby is NOT "obviously" the best player in the league. That is "obviously" not the case because many players besides Chara have said the same. Now I am not saying that Pavel Datsyuk is hands down the best player in the league. Hell I am not even saying he is the best (although he may be). What I am saying is that there are more than a few that think somebody else is better. No, I am not talking about fans (like yourself and myself), I am talking about Crosby's peers. So don't try to come on here and say 30 out of 30 GM's will take him #1 because you do not know that. His own freakin peers don't say that. But again, I'm sure that you know more than the actual players on the ice. And don't try to tell people what GM's are thinking because you have no idea.
Was I just imagining that whole "who is better, OV or the Kid" thing not long ago. I think that was pretty divided. But no, no, no... if you say Crosby is the best than it must be fact!
Here is a thought... try stringing together 4-5 seasons before being anointed the OBVIOUS BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD.

By the way... it was during the draft when they were talking about Datsyuk being the 1st player takin. I believe it was Pierre McGuire who stated that He was the obvious choice because most of his (Datsyuk) peers said he was the best in the league. Now again, I'm sure you are more in touch with what ALL of the NHL thinks. I mean, you even know what 30 GM's think. You should be on tv, you know more than the players!

The hockey news asked the players March 19 issue 2012 which I have in front of me and they asked 5 players from each team who is the best player in the game and guess who they voted the best Mr. Crosby. Patel Datsyuk 2nd Claude GIroux 3rd Steven Stamkos 4th and Johnathan Toews 5th. I would have including John Tavares he is the next young star in the game he is a special player. So,if the players in the NHL voted him the best player that to me tells me they know the game and they would all take him on there team whining and all.
Those would be "final numbers". I doubt that every guy had Crosby #1. Some had Datsyuk, some had Stamkos, etc... Obviously the majority may have had Crosby. This makes my point, that not everyone thinks he is the best. Majority...yes. Everybody... hell no.

and where were all the comments towards datsyuk last series? zetterberg worked his behind off the contain toews and completely took captain serious off his game so datsyuk could spend more time creating offense and where was it? 1 goal? he didn't even have to focus on shutting toews down and couldn't produce.

Datsyuk had Toews while in Chicago (last change) for the most part. To be honest with you. I am not even saying Datsyuk is the best.
