good point BUT WHO would expect the Blackhawks to go into a SCORING SLUMP?

said it before, the Red Wings look like a "destiny team" right now

the other team at this point wouldn't matter much, the hawks have been listless, i've never seen them play with such little intensity, i love this squad, but they clearly weren't ready for adversity, they look lost, and are just aimlessly tossing hail mary's

I remember listening to 97.1 the ticket and people blowing up the phone on how soft of a goaltender Howard is. Wings had to play great the past week as well to make the playoffs....regardless of who they were playing. Blackhawks were on cruise control for a while to end the season mainly due to the great start of the season. Wild didn't put up much of a fight. Wings were battle tested every game against the Ducks. Red Wings loss game one to Anaheim by two however there was an empty net goal to make it 3-1. Lost 4-0 in game three but Abdelkader's penalty changed the outcome of that game. The other five games were one goal games either way. Red Wings have been more battle tested and are more primed for these type of lower scoring games than Chicago.

Destiny is Sidney Crosby raising the Cup and Handing it Over to Jerome Iginla. That's Destiny. Chicago blew there load too early in the year. I've seen A ton of people refer to the shortened season And schedule as the reason for Chicago's early success. I thought It was still legit cause they were winning games but who knows.

And Detroit had to fight their way into the playoffs the last few weeks or so of the season. 7 game series with the Ducks who really weren't playing their best hockey going into the playoffs. Red Wings are scary right now and Howard is standing on His head but I don't think it Has anything to do with Destiny. We'll see tho. GO PENS!
