Colin Campbells son plays on Boston. Daddy would never suspend Chara and hurt his sons chance at winning the Stanley Cup. Simple as that.

unfortunately theres no way to confirm it was premeditated or with any intent , and theres no way to prove it was an accident.

Montreal police will conduct a criminal investigation into the on-ice hit that sent Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty to hospital with a broken vertebra and concussion.

The announcement Thursday follows a request by Quebec's top prosecutor, Louis Dionne, to open a probe after viewing video of Tuesday night's game against the Boston Bruins at the Bell Centre.

Dionne has asked police to begin gathering evidence to help prosecutors determine if charges should be laid against Zdeno Chara, the Bruins defenceman who rode Pacioretty into the boards.

I heard that if the league suspends charred ass that it can open up a possibility for a lawsuit.  I believe this 100%.  I'm surprised gary hasn't sent the mafia to go talk to Joe Thornton

Yes, good job NHL...you are so incompetent you have already forgotten Chara has already gotten suspended 1 game for instigating a fight.

Wasn't he supposed to get suspended in the playoffs vs the Sabres last year too but the NHl rescinded that?

Yet according to these geniuses the guy has a clean record.

Speaking of dangerous why wasn't these 2 hits ever intensely discussed or huge uproars about. These are worse hits. Oh i know why. Because the Canadians players were the ones doing it so thats ok. Only when one of their players gets hurt on a hit is there a full out stop the world discussion an investigation. Which is pathetic. Go call 911 over these hits.

Or better yet we could have a fuckin cop on skates with a little light on his helmet.  He could arrest players for slashing or take them off the ice after they throw a punch.  They could wear their fuckin hockey gear to court and even film, hell they could even change the stats, because a Montreal Canadien got injured.

Clean hit. Unfortunately the guy got hurt.  Happens all the time and is part of hockey.  Move on to the next game!
