Caps remind me of the 2006 Indy Colts

Colts were horrible  in the playoffs but in their first opportunity to win the SB they did.

So at that lofty prize of 500-1 that Vegas was before the season started how exposed do you guys think Vegas books are,and to make Vegas the fav. kinda sets it up for people that have those 20 to 50 buck tickets to do a bit of hedgeing,but I am more curious how much money is on the Knights to win the Cup before the season started.Is it even possible to find this out??

Good comparison to an NFL team.. can also compare 2011 Mavs or even LeBrons first championship.. 

I also think Ovechkin wins his first cup.. 

I feel Caps beat the better teams leading to the finals.. 2 x champs and Tampa in terms of experience.. 

Fleury is the x factor for Vegas but Holtby can go toe to toe with him..

Who has more scoring and who has won a Vezina Trophy in the past?

I am not saying Holtby is on that level this season but here are the Caps!  

This is going to be a hard hitting series.. The tough prevail.. I expect a low scoring series..

about a week or so there was an article in our local paper  SOUTH BEND IN tribune on the bets placed before season it even listed what casinos stood to lose. it really wasn't that much bet and one casino stood out as having the most to lose  if I get a chance ill try to see if I can find it. 

PB I hate it when we are on opposite sides.  But I guess one of us will win. I just think MAF with the rest is by far the better goalie and YOU have been preaching since the playoffs started that the better goalies win more often than not in the playoffs. But good luck anyway!!!

And the same to you my friend.  Like I said one of us will win. The Caps have just beat me too many times when I expected them to win. But this could well be their year as we mentioned before the playoffs started that people have given up on them and the expectations were low so why not just win it all.... I play more for fun these days so you have far more money riding on it. It should be entertaining for sure.  Unlike the UGLY NBA. Damn that shit has been hard to watch. No reason at all with the calls. It is either a touchy called game or a UFC fight type. Tough to cap or make any sense of.
