if david stern ran the nhl like he fixes the nba, we'd have no worries with washington and ovechkin, but now they go out early again b/c of jose

Caps are a joke and I am a caps fan...they choke in the playoffs...kinda like they did tonight

Yeah, we're the 2nd seed, but are we really better than the rangers??  No.  Rangers have a much better goalie and better D.  I still think this one goes 7 games... I know it's the playoffs, but I have no problem putting in Varlamov, who has about 5 games NHL experience.  That's how low my confidence is in Jose Threeormore.  I'm positive Jose will be in net for game 2.  I hope he proves me wrong!

haha.... i have Rangers to win this series, but  i am a Bruins fan and Theodore looks like Fernandez going down so early on all those shots. Hope tis continues, if they put in Varlamov i am afraid Washington might have a chance.

I did not bet on this game, but I watched it... all the people talking about the non call on avery when gomez scored should suck a dick... the capitals got every call in this game... it was a joke... green elbowed sjostrom in the face on a hit slamming him into the boards and there was no call... I couldn't believe that... he clearly led w the elbow... capitals got 7 PP vs 4 for the rangers... at least 5 of those penalties were not as obvious as the one they missed on green... the rangers took advantage of great shots and good defense on ovechkin... they deserved to win this game... i did not bet on it, but i was pulling for the rangers' backers bc they deserved it.. HANK PLAYED LIGHTS OUT

johnson won't be ready this series. won't be surprised to see a short leash on JT, giving Varlamov his 1st playoff opportunity at home instead of on the road.

I watched the 1st 1/2 hour and then only between periods and stuff of the Devils game but ...MAKE A F'N SAVE!!!

I'll bet the Caps again in game 2 but then if they lose that one I am off of them.

skaplow , the Caps got calls because they outplayed the Rangers and drew calls, Theodore sucked and lost them the game

there was also a pick before that by antropov at the caps blueline which ould have been called

and on the 2nd goal didnt a ranger player break a washington players stick?

caps dominated the game imo and theodore was just as bad as you can be
